CocktailsSpiced Cranberry Spritz
I pour this while the roast rests and everyone migrates to the kitchen. Festive, fizzy, and very hard to stop at one.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cranberry juice
- 1 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 3 oz vodka (optional)
- 1 bottle chilled prosecco or sparkling wine
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 4 rosemary sprigs
- Star anise and cinnamon sticks, for garnish
Method
- Combine cranberry juice, orange juice, and simple syrup in a large pitcher. Add vodka if using.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve, up to 24 hours ahead.
- Just before guests arrive, add orange slices, cranberries, and rosemary to the pitcher.
- Top with prosecco and stir gently once.
- Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish with star anise or a cinnamon stick.
